Amantle Montsho Gets Mugged-Again!

It seems as if no one can escape the harsh reality of crime,not even stars. Amantle Montsho is a victim of crime, and this is the second time the Olympic medalist gets mugged on the streets. This morning a thieve made away with her wallet, and ran for his life. She went to her local tuck-shop to buy electricity when the thieve snatched her wallet.

According to Amantle everything went so fast and she did not get the chance to chase the thieve. She narrates that she was afraid to give chase as she did not know the type of weapon that the thieve had. Sometimes it’s better to save your life than die for replaceable goods. She tells her followers that if she chased the thieve she would have managed to catch him in a split second.

It is not the first time that something of this sort happened to our golden girl. A few years back, thieves also snatched her handbag in Main mall Gaborone. She tried to run after them but they disappeared into thin air. It is very sad that, there are some people who survive from other people’s hard-work. Crime does not pay.
