The Feel Good Foundation hosts on Yarona FM have bashed the former Programmes manager at the station, Bonni Dintwa for being unprofessional and bitter about where he comes from.
The two radio veterans told this to The Voice Newspaper this after they were asked how they felt about the remarks Bonni made about them and their during an interview with the same newspaper.
BRANDO: The thing is he is a person who is basically stuck trying to live in the past.
He needs to focus on what he is doing, his attention should be on what he needs to do for online radio. He is very sour about where he’s coming from; it’s very unprofessional what he said!
ROBIN: There are more than a hundred radio stations in Botswana and beyond, listen to what you want to listen to.
Do not worry about us, we okay! I do not expect everybody to like the show.
Whether he chooses to listen to his wife, that is okay; rona we are just doing us.
In a recent interview, Bonni has told The voice Newspaper that he does not listen to The feel Good Foundation because they don’t deliver great interviews and there is little current affairs adding that having Robin and Brando is one of the factors that made him leave the station.
“Then the craziest thing happens: Brando and Robin show up!
My argument was that from a programmes point of view the move was not progressive, it made it seem as if at Yarona FM we were defeated, that either there is no new talent or we are failing to nurture new talent.
I listen to Yarona FM now and I am like ‘there is no plan’.
When I wake up in the morning I do not listen to the Feel Good Foundation because they do not deliver great interviews and there is little current news; the other one is not even funny – he is just trying to be funny because the co-host is a creative genius.
It is just a mess but I do believe Yarona FM will bounce back from this.” he said to the newspaper.
Brando and Robin have since punched back during their show saying that Bonni was bitter because he was fired for sleeping with his junior.
