Botswana Refereeing Team To Officiate A CAF Championship Match

The African Football Confederation (CAF) has appointed the Botswana referee, Joshua Bondo to lead the match between El Merreikh of Sudan and ES Setifienne of Algeria on Saturday 9th April 2016 at the Khartoum City of Sudan. He will be assisted by fellow Oamogetse Godisamang and Meshack Medupe.

Bondo grew up in Senete, but it was in Selebi-Phikwe where his dream of becoming a referee of repute was realised. He has crisscrossed the continent on international assignments with only the Africa Cup of Nations finals to elude him.  He was last year named Mascom Top 8 referee of the tournament.
