the country was represented by Amantle Montsho in Dageu where she won the first gold medal for the country. She also represented the country in at Moskva where she won a silver. This year at the 15th edition of the IAAF World Championships, the country will be represented by Amantle Montsho, Christine Botlogetswe and Lydia Jele.

The ladies have maintained a good record even though they did not bring home any awards at their competitions in the Diamond League. They have been training hard for this competition and we believe that they will come home with the medals!
