President Ian Khama will this afternoon give the State of the Nation address in parliament.In his presentation, the President will inform the nation on the economic outlook and general affairs of the country.
The 1st Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 11th Parliament will start with the delivery of the State of the Nation Address SONA by His Excellency Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, President of the Republic of Botswana.
It is estimated that the meeting will last for five (5) weeks and will end on or around the 11th December 2015. Arrangements will be made for the public to view the event live on Botswana Television via Plasma Screens in front of the Parliament Buildings/Gardens.
