Embassy Of Botswana In Washington DC BOT5O Celebration In Pictures

The international arena has caught the cold as 50th Independence celebrations for Botswana went under way on Saturday September 3rd, 2016. The event was hosted by the Embassy of Botswana in Washington, DC and the Batswana Community in the USA (BaUSA). It was a great celebration which brought together the people of Botswana from all over the USA and Canada as well as friends of Botswana.

The event consisted of free food and drinks, soccer, netball and plenty of cultural dancing. A soccer game was played between Botswana and Zambia in which we saw the Botswana team come out victorious. SACU Board Members were pleased to have helped Botswana celebrate 50 years of independence.
