Former Radio Personality And Rapper Ice Queen Once Again In Trouble With The Law
Former radio personality and musician Desma Basson aka Ice Queen who has a history of being a dodgy character is at it again. She is back in the courts for forgery and submitting false documents.
Ice Queen and one Kamogelo Kaote were recently arraigned before the Maun Magistrate Court charged with two counts of forgery and uttering a false document.
βInvestigations conducted by the DCEC revealed that the accused persons on July 11, 2013 in Maun acting jointly and in concert, forged a Botswana Bureau of Standards inspection report which had been issued to Linefeeds (Pty) Ltd and which had failed the inspection.
The accused persons went on to present it to the Chobe District Council purporting it to be a genuine BOBS inspection report issued to Linefeeds (Pty) Ltd,β reads the statement. Ice Queen used to be a recording hip hop artist under Altitude sounds. Beginning of this year, Ice Queen wasΒ arrested and detained by police in another fraud case.She allegedly swindled six individuals of P223,800 in a deal to sell a 10-hectare commercial plot in Oodi.
In 2014, Cresta Lodge claimed she had used their services but failed to pay and they took her to court .
In 2011,she was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London for allegedly possessing weed valued at P248,000.The news became public when she was remanded at the Halloway Female Prison after failing to raise the bail money.
