National Disciplinary Committee Judgement-Botswana Football

With Botswana football and courts of law, it doesn’t seem to end. Following the saga that has been going on between Township Rollers and some teams, the disciplinary hearing committee has come up with another judgement. The Committee noted that the draft that was read out on the 19th April 2016 had a few errors of interpretation and thus make minor adjustment on the orders of its final copy.

The protests by Mochudi Centre Chief, Miscellaneous & Police XI are referred back for hearing to the BPL DC. The BPL DC to hear and pass the judgement within 7 days from today’s date 13th May 2016. The Acting Chairman pronouncement and decision is therefore set aside and is of no Force.Β The BPL Log Standings shall onlyΒ be released after the protests procedures in relation to protests mentioned have been concluded.

The NDC found the conduct of the BPL Acting Chairman Mr. Rapula Okaile unsportingly when issuing his letter of the 28th April 2016 instructing the Acting BPL CEO to deduct 10 points against Township Rollers.The Conduct in which the NDC’s opinion has been grossly prejudicial to the reputation of the BFA. The Committee therefore resolves to press charges against Mr. Okaile , which shall be layed out in detail through separate communication.
