Neo Chantal Barkaath Crowned Miss RADP 2016

Saturday night Neo Chantal Barkaath from Qabo was crowned Miss RADP 2016. The pageant which was held at Botho College under the theme  UNEARTHING NATURAL BEAUTY & TALENT, saw a confident Neo scoop the tittle.


The beauty contest caters for young girls in rural settlements specifically to empower them by giving them a platform to compete among themselves. The aim of Miss RADP 2016 is to try and discover natural talent in rural settlements.

Miss RADP is an initiative (Affirmative Action) by the Ministry to bring services closer to disadvantaged people who are far from the mainstream developments. The first of its kind pageant started in 2013 with the main objectives of promoting and branding RADP Affirmative Action
