Netball: Botswana Ranked Among Global Top 20
It might not be one of the popular sports codes out there, but our girls continue to put us visible on the world map and they deserve the publicity.Β With hard work our national netball team is now ranked 18th in the whole world. This development has also made us number 6 in Africa, which is great news.

The Botswana national netball team represent Botswana in international netball tests. Botswana competed in the 2007 World Netball Championships, their first appearance at a World Championships, finishing tenth. They also came second at the 2008 Nations Cup, and finished 13th at the 2011 World Championships in Singapore. As of 20 August 2016, we have beenΒ 20th in the INF World Rankings.
