More investors are now jumping in the bandwagon, and coming forth for our struggling premier league teams. One such is former Gaborone United investor Nicholas Zackhem who is now an official shareholder at Gilport Lions SC. The news were confirmed yesterday by the club executive chairman,Β Kelesitse Raymond Gilika.
“The board of directors of Gilport Lions SC would like to announce that Mr. Nicholas Zakhem has joined the team as a shareholder after signing a shareholder agreement with the Gilika family on Friday the 23rd of September 2016. Nicholas Zakhem is still Gaborone United, a team that he will only assist for this season. This is great news for Gilport, since they will be on their way to being one of the richest and well organized teams in the country. We hope other investors will follow suite.
