ICU REGISTERED NURSE
WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Careful assessmentΒ and monitoring of patient progress in order to watch for sudden or subtle changes in a patientβs medical condition
- Managing medication doses, and ventilator
- Prepared to work long hours and deal with critically ill patients on a daily basis
- Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to patient needs
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to patientβs rights in the delivery of care
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Degree in General Nursing
- Diploma / Degree in Critical Care
- Registration to practice as a Registered Nurse with Botswana Nursing Council
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a practicing Nurse
- Computer literacy
