Rapper Cardi B Hits The Top 10 On Her First Try With Debut Single ‘Bodak Yellow’

While “Despacito” officially becomes the second longest running No.1 hit of all time (one of them, at least) with 14 consecutive frames at the top under its belt, a handful of popular singles move around within the top 10, and one upstart young talent reaches the region for the first time.

Songs No. 2 and 3 remain where they were last week, both kept in place by the power of “Despacito.” DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild Thoughts” is a non-mover in the runner-up position (where it has been stuck for over a month now), while French Montana and Swae Lee’s “Unforgettable” is also stuck in third place, its peak thus far.

Up to a new high of No. 4 is Imagine Dragons’ “Believer,” the first single from their new album Evolve, which was kept from topping the charts earlier this summer by DJ Khaled’s Grateful.

Charlie Puth’s new single “Attention” has also climbed to a new high mark, breaking into the top five for the first time in its charting run. The track is the young pop star’s second top five, but his first with him in charge. His initial appearance on the Hot 100, as a featured vocalist on Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” netted him a 12-week chart-topper.

Speaking of young male pop talents, Shawn Mendes also advances this time around with his latest, “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” which has settled at No. 6 this week.

Down all the way to No. 7 is Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like,” which looks like it may be ready to vacate the top 10 in the coming weeks. It tumbles from fourth to seventh, breaking an impressive streak of weeks in the top five.
