Rollers begins preparations for Al-Aghly

The Gaborone giants Township Rollers will has returned to the playing fields prior to their contest with Eqypt’s Al Aghly after they took a break from training after clinching the 2017/18 BTC Premiership title following a 2-0 win over Extension Gunners last month.The mma-Masire side under the guidance of Serbian tactician Nikola Kavazovic are seeking to rewrite football books further after they became the first football club in Botswana to make it into the group stages of the CAF club tournament.

The Blues are scheduled to take on Egyptian Premier League champions Al Ahly in Alexandria on the 17th of July 2018.Rollers will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Champions League having lost 4-1 to Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis in Rades last month.They are only a point behind group leaders Esperance with four games left. The two teams which will finish in the top two positions will advance to the quarterfinals.
