SAFARI ASSISTANT

Overview
The Safari Assistant works closely with a Consultant who together provide a highly valued service to agents and suppliers of Safari Destinations. The main purpose of this job is to provide high level administrative support to the consultant with whom they work in order to provide excellent and timeous service to our agents.

Under the supervision of the Consultant, the Safari Assistant contacts Safari Destination’s suppliers to check on availability for bookings, makes provisional bookings with suppliers, confirms bookings and follows through on ensuring supplier invoices are received, checked and processed for payment. The job encumbent also liaise with suppliers with regards to any special guest requests. The Safari Assistant is also responsible for entering of quotes onto Tour Plan the reservations system used as well as preparing, sending and filing of all other related material. Once every 5 to 6 weeks, the job incumbent will also be required to do duty week-end and be on standby duties, conducting a meet and greet service to travellers through the Maun airport
