Systems Developer/Analyst II Wanted At Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership
Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute Partnership (BHP) seeks an assertive, result oriented, strategic thinker with good interpersonal skills to fill the above position. BHP requires a software developer with analytical skills to join the software development and data management team.
Principal Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Data Operations, the candidate will be expected to:
Design, develop, maintain and deploy new and existing clinical research, laboratory and survey systems.
Prepare for and participate in system and data audits
Maintain documentation and adhere to strict change management procedures
Prepare data sets for monitoring and analysis
Liaise with stakeholders as required
Maintain documentation and strict source code version control
Test driven development especially unit testing
Assist research staff with research data needs
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelorβs degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, similar degree or 3-5 years directly relevant work experience is required. Proficiency in Python, Django, SQL and Linux are significant advantages.
Minimum of three (3) years work experience working with complex data and developing and maintaining data-driven applications in a similar environment. Relevant certifications are an advantage.
