U/17 ready for Mauritius

Botswana Under 17 team will be leaving for Mauritius today for a contest against other African teams. The team has been in camp in the past two weeks in preparation for the championships. The local lads led by Extension Gunners tactian Itumeleng Duiker were in preparatory matches against Lesotho side and they emerged victorious in all their encounters which were played in two consecutive days.

In a press conference and team send off ceremony yesterday at Lekidi grounds, it was revealed that the team is in a great position to claim the title in the Southern African island.”As a send of message, we are saying go and compete, if we apply and Accord ourselves fully, the breakthrough is there” BFA CEO Mfolo ‘David’ Mfolo giving a word to the Team as they prepare to leave for Mauritius.
