Vacancy: COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Job Purpose
To manage the corporate internal and external communications activities to develop a positive reputation for KBL by developing and executing globally aligned traditional and social media plans to achieve the business objectives
Key roles and Responsibilities
βManage the external communications function,both traditional and digital media, in support of the African Zone approach
βKeep abreast of relevant news/media reports that may affect KBL
βDevelop a crisis communications plan and manage the communications agenda
βExecute the PR strategies and plans which are aligned with global positioning of our company
βTo organise press meetings, trips,events, press conferences and site visits for journalists when required
βTo privide communications support and advice to locak communication contacts in accordance with Global Media Policy
βManage external and internal stakeholders and relationships
Knowledge and Experience Required
βMust have a post graduate Degree
βMinimum 5 years experience in a journalism or Corporate Communications role
βStrong written and verbal communication skills and creativity
βInnovative problem solving solutions
βProject Management and strategic ability
βAbility to multi -task
βManage a budget
