Vacancy: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Platinum Icons has an exceptional opportunity for a financial Accountant to establish themselves

ACCOUNTING RESPONSBILITIES:
β’ Responsible for the accounting operations of the company.
β’ Prepared BURS returns quarterly as required.
β’ Communicate routinely with Project Managers on a variety of job related topics including site payments, contract agreements and site budgets.
β’ Must be able to produce all monthly financial reports on pastel.
β’ Manage company and project cash flow
β’ Develop written accounting procedures for the operations staff and work with team to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
β’ Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.
β’ Work with project management staff ensuring proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly
β’ Provide reporting and budgeting as required by Senior Management.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be a strong and organized leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Specific requirements include:
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in accounting and/or finance required.
β’ 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
β’ Ability to manage budgets accordingly and account for all costs at sites.
β’ Must have extensive Pastel Experience and produce reports from Pastel.
β’ Experience in job cost accounting and financial reporting.
β’ 2 to 4 years on Construction Management or General Contracting or Subcontractor industry experience.
β’ Understanding cash flow within Construction.
