Vacancy- Information Technology Officers Wanted By The UASF

The UASF invites applications from qualified citizens of Botswana for the Position of Information Technology (IT) Officers tenable at Primary Schools in Mabutsane Sub-District, Gantsi District and Kgalagadi Districts;

•Assists in the installation, maintenance and
administration of Software Systems.
•Assists in the installation, maintenance and
administration of computer network.
•Troubleshooting,support,maintenance of IT
equipment
•Provides end-user support and administration.
•Ensures timely recording and reporting of all
problems to do with all equipment.•Plans and schedules all work within targets, keeps
updated records and prepares monthly/quarterly
reports on all areas of work.
•Train users on computers and useful packages
such as Microsoft Office, to ensure transfer of
skills on general computer usage, data capturing,
report generation, basic programming
•Setup and maintains a fully functional computer
laboratory.
•Orientation, induction and introducing users to
coding
skills.
•Participates actively on any computer-based
projects, tasks or activities running in the school.
•Identifies and work with community groups in the
village/region on ICT related engagements.
•Undertakes different areas of ICT research in the
region of deployment.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or equivalent.
