JB SPORTS is urgently looking for a GENTLEMAN to take up the post of Purchasing and Supply intern tenable in GABORONE.
JOB DESCRIPTIONΒ
1. Develop quantity and cost estimates for required products
2. Complete timely probable estimates of costs and quantites using comparative and differential estimating techniques
3. Responsible for filing and/or distributing contract documents
4. Participate in recruiting and selecting superior suppliers
5. Participate with assisting Purchasing Manager in negotiating prices,terms and rebates with suppliers and manufactures (cost effective purchasing of goods)
6. Help ensure that all trade contractors are under formal agreement(agreement with price and scopes of work)
7. Help ensure that all necessary documentation has been collected from vendors and trades prior to start of work (i.e company registration,tax clearance etc)
8. Continually look into innovative products,techniques and changes in the industry
9. Assist in determining accurate standard specifications and scopes of work for each trade
10. Provide consistent and strong support to all departments within the oganization

β’ Diploma in CIPS(Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply)
β’ Experience will be an added advantage
