Yarona FM Music Awards Are Upon Us!
The Yarona Fm Music Awards (YAMAS), Botswanaโs very own annual, glamorous red carpet event is back this third time around and it’s just a few days away. Voting lines have been opened since September, and there are reports of a significant response from the followers.
Only music released between late 2015 and early 2016 has beenย considered in the nomineeโs selection. Among the top contenders at the uptown awards will be the likes of new comers Ban T and Amantle Brown who are expected to win big.
The awards were created as a way of contributing towards the development and celebration of local artists, adding that it is pleasing to see the development thus far. Key stakeholders that support these awards include COSBOTS, BOCRA and the Ministry of Youth Empowerment Sports and Culture.ย The voting lines remain open until November 15th with the main event slated for December 10th.
