Nkgakaile makes word on Miss Botswana

Many people are coming out to make statements regarding the Miss Botswana. Some are making laughter out it. The Miss Africa Botswana organizer Bruce Nkgakile has also made an engagement.

Quoted verbatim this is what he has had to say,”

My Statement Regarding Miss Botswana 2018 Part 1

Let me start by firstly pointing that for the past 7 years i have seen 7 brooms which were meant to clean Miss Botswana and they dirtied even further.

Batswana have lost faith and hope in this pageant for all the scandals and disappointments done by the brooms and even Govt thru MYSc at one point.

This years pageant is rushed and is evident that it is being forced against all odds. Contestants have rejected the pageant and that is embarrassing. Being a Miss Botswana contestant was once an honor, a privilege, an achievement but today no young lady wants to associate with it. This is the biggest sign of that whoever is crowned will just like other previous queens have no impact in society! Beauty queens succeed through public goodwill and at present there isnt any! Our queens get forgotten while they still reign. This only happens here.

To rebrand and reposition Miss Bw doesn’t need a 2 woman show! NO!!! It needs restructuring of the selection poetesses for auditions, clear and transparent judge selection and most importantly being run by an individual that is experienced in pageantry! The current broom has no background in pageantry! NONE!!! They speak of marketing experience and fundraising resume! That is far from pageantry!

This pageant must wait and be set up properly re itsi thata ka yone go na le di price tsa di ticket! The pageant has been turned into q cash cow for companies and that this year must not materialize! BCW must save its face! Also ko Miss World gatwe re benefita eng se se patikang mo go kanakana!

Whoever will be queen this year has no time for her project unlike others who have prepared for the last many months! We are only going to show a face!

A re baakanyeng pele betsho!”
