Honourable Mmusi and General Cavoli met to strengthen beneficial cooperation

Minister of Defence, Justice and Security Honourable Mr. Thomas Kagiso Mmusi and General Christopher G. Cavoli, Commander of the consolidated United States Army Europe and Africa met yesterday. The two met to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Minister Mmusi welcomed and commended General Cavoli for assuming the command of the consolidated army U.S Army Europe and Africa in 2020. General Cavoli commended Botswana for taking part in peace keeping operations in Mozambique. The Republic of Botswana and the United States of America share a strong bond based on democratic values and principles, transparency, mutual respect and the rule of law.
