Miss Botswana Gets Flown Around By The President!
Being Miss Botswana comes with many perks and fringe benefits. Our very own reigning queen is one lucky lady , she get to be piloted by the 1st citizen of Botswana, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama. She could not contain her Β excitement as she shared a couple of photos as the two in a helicopter together.
“Flying with my president,Β I honor you Sir ,Β I learnt a lot ,Β Thank you Sir.” This was the little poem of appreciation from Paige to the president. The two seem to click well, since these are not their first pictures together. When she went for her official first visit to the office of the president, Seneo brought the President a portrait of him, drawn by Seneo. This was indeed the start of a good friendship.
Our president is well known for his support of our youth and their initiatives. He has dedicated the alcohol levy to arts and youth development programs, and it is clear that beauty pageants are also not left behind. We hope our queen ca take this as an opportunity to drive her social responsibilities even after her reign.
