The document bank wishes to engage the services of an account executive in their organization. General Summary: achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned business territory by effectively selling the company products and services.

Core Functions:

β€’Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based approach

β€’Demonstrates products and services to existing and potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs

Details OfΒ Functions:

β€’Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organizations products and services

β€’Makes telephone calls and in person visits and conducts presentations to existing and prospective customers

β€’Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential

β€’Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective and current customers

β€’Expedites the resolutions of customer problems an complaints

β€’Analyses the territory/market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer value to the organization

β€’Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities

β€’Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products and services

β€’Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on Time Investment for the market segment

β€’Supplies management with oral with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities and potential for new products and services

 

Qualification

The candidate must have at least a Diploma in Sales and Marketing and two (2) years experience in the sales and marketing environment.

β€’Must be result orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

β€’Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).

β€’Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving

β€’The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

β€’Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications.

β€’Knowledge of Pastel software would be an added advantage

β€’Must have own car and drivers license
