LEMO APPOINTED WESTERN INSURANCE BOTSWANA DIRECTOR

Tshepo Lemo has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to Insurance services provider, Western Insurance Botswana. The appointment to the Board of Directors of who was made in April 2021.

As a business that holds the need for sound, effective and diverse governance protocols, the addition of Tshepo is an important one in further cementing a strong and diverse Board.” the Chief Executive Officer of Western Insurance Botswana, Victor Nnoi, said.

Lemo is an investment professional with extensive experience in managing diversified portfolios. He worked at Flemming Asset Management Botswana, starting as a Trainee Portfolio Manager, before ascending to be a fully-fledged Portfolio Manager. He then moved to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund where he started off as an Investment Manager, before ascending to the position of Chief Investment Officer. He is currently an investment consultant and Board director for Maiteko Enterprises.

Educationally, he holds Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Witswatersrand, and Bachelor’s Degree Honors, Business Economics from the same institution.
