Kanye West Will Reportedly Show His Yeezy Season 6 Collection At Paris Fashion Week

After news broke that Kanye West was not going to present his Yeezy Season 6 show during New York Fashion Week, the fashion world was left confused. The singer-turned-designer has shown five collections at New York Fashion Week so far—some making headlines for the wrong reasons—so we were surprised to hear West decided to skip out on the festivities.

Now, it has been reported that West’s show was never cancelled; however, it was intended to be shown at Paris Fashion week instead. Just one year after Kim Kardashian’s traumatic robbery, West will unveil his Yeezy Season 6 collection at a private presentation, which will take place in a showroom—this is not the usual arrangement we’re used to seeing from the designer.

According to People, a close source to the star said “there was never a show on the NYFW schedule.” Adding that, “there was basically a hold in the event Kanye opted to show during NYFW. There will be a presentation or showroom for the Season 6 collection, just not during NYFW.”

An alleged photo of the Season 6 invite was shared by @thebusinessfashion on Instagram earlier this morning, which shows a pair of tan socks with ‘Season 6’ printed in white. However, the show isn’t featured on the official calendar.

Although nothing has been confirmed by West himself, we do know that his shows have been secretive in the past—and it wouldn’t be fashion month without a little Yeezy drama, right?
