The Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, His Honour Mr Slumber Tsogwane said government is coming up with programmes aimed at uplifting the lives of Batswana as stated in the recent budget speech. Vice President Tsogwane therefore commended the private sector for their active participation in helping government facilitate economic growth.

The Vice President made these comments at the Choppies Big Birthday Bonanza prize handover in Gaborone yesterday. He said Big Birthday Bonanza is an initiative in line with the Government’s vision and mission to facilitate the development of Batswana. Through this 20th edition of the Choppies competition, five of Batswana went away with Nissan Navara each, 79 won P15 000.00 each and 1 won a grand prize of C200 Mercedes Benz.
