Our Client in Botswana is looking for a strong Tax Manager, with an excellent understanding of Tax and business development. Someone who will expand with them and become a leading Botswana Tax expert, in a leading tax consultancy organisation. The candidate should be interested in a meaningful career and making a positive difference to our clientβs organisation and the countryβs economy.
Our Client’s Tax Consultancy Section is expanding and already has one of the largest taxpayer bases in Botswana. Their clients need you to advise them, resolve their tax issues and help them become/remain tax compliant.
With offices across Botswana they have a wide range of clients who rely on them and trust them to provide excellent tax services and advice.
Duties & Responsibilities
β’ Address Tax Queries with the local tax authorities
β’ Train & Motivate Employees
β’ Keep up to date with changing tax regulations
β’ Advice clients on tax related matters
β’ Creat Plans for business development to ensure growth
Desired Experience & Qualification
β’ Experience with business development
β’ Be growth orientated and able to get amazing results from a diverse and talented team
β’ Have previously worked within a professional tax advisory/compliance organisation at a management level
β’ Be organised, a clear communicator both with colleagues and clients, be a team player, a problem solver and able to work well under pressure
β’ Be self-motivated, detail orientated and be able to successfully co-ordinate and track numerous tax matters
β’ Be able to efficiently delegate work to, and then monitor the work of those reporting to you from different locations.
β’ Have an excellent understanding of all aspects of Tax legislation and compliance requirements
β’ Have a good working knowledge of BURSβ online E Services or similar regulatory body
β’ Have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Office, mainly: Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
β’ Candidates must be willing to relocate to Gaborone Botswana
β’ A credit Report and Police Clearance certificate may be required if successful.
Package & Remuneration
Basic salary of 30 000 Botswana Pula per month (Linked to Experience)
50% Medical Aid
