Chris Rudeboy MbochwaΒ is an example of how hard work and determination pays off. This deaf young man born in Tutume village became deaf at the age of 6 years. The proudlyΒ deaf individual is one of the most intelligent and ambitious young men in this country.Β Chris has just graduated from Gallaudet university in USA with a BS in Biology and BA in Chemistry.
He has gone through a lot of hardships in life, but his background or loss of his sister during his schooling did not deter him from his ultimate goal. The medium of instruction in his varsity was sign language(as it should be for a signer) one thing thatΒ the education system in Botswana should do forΒ deaf learners.
