Three Batswana women have been nominated in the inaugural Southern Africa Women in Leadership Awards 2020 (SAWIL). They are amongst 32 finalists who were selected from over 200 nominations.

Ms Kuda Tshiamo-Kgati is a 32-year-old whose career began in 2012 as a Pupil Attorney at Rantao Kewagamang Attorneys (Botswana) and was often attached to Tri-Africa Advisory Services as a Research Assistant. She joined Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) from November 2015 until March 2018 as in-house Senior Litigation Counsel. She is currently engaged as Head of Legal Services at Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC).

Naledi Ngwato is a commercial pilot with 13 years of experience and over 5000 flight hours providing exceptional service to passengers all through Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
She is currently Pilot of Commercial Aircraft Fly Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She joined the company as a Co-Pilot on the Boeing 737-800.
