System Administrator Wanted At First National Bank Botswana
First National Bank Botswana is looking for a System Administrator who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
Duties.
Manage project activities when assigned conforming to adopted project management principles.
Install server hardware platform infrastructure in accordance with requisite Group standards and policies.
Install and configure systems to support IT infrastructure applications for the business.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for systems.
Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for operational efficiencies.
Repair and recover from service failures, coordinating and communicating with impacted business and other relevant stakeholders.
Upgrade and configure system software that supports IT Infrastructure running applications. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required to support capacity planning initiatives.
Maintain data Centre environmental and monitoring equipment
Qualifications And Experience.
Bachelor of Information Systems or Computer Science
Industry related certification
3+ yearsβ infrastructure experience in a corporate environment
Sound general IT knowledge and a technical understanding of relevant hardware and software technologies
Proven Skills and competencies:
Proven ability to assess problems and research solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prevent future problems by automating processes
Greater knowledge of the business side of IT
Keen aw Install and configure systems to support IT infrastructure applications for the business awareness of system vulnerability
