“Facebook Parents Don’t Show Off With Your Kids! Warns Skizo.
It is now a trend more especially with celebrities in Botswana to post pictures of themselves and their young children out and about. Now that the schools have opened, parents are updating pictures of their kids in school uniforms of private schools, mostly to show off. One other person who is not impressed by all this isΒ the legendary producer DJ Skizo aka David Molosi. He sent a messageΒ simply to sensitize and warn those that think living through their children by profiling their lives and movements on social media is cool.
“Facebook Parents…Why Do You Show the World Where Your Kids Go To School? Whilst You are Boasting About The New Expensive School, You are Directly Putting These Innocents at High Risk! Kidnappers, Traffickers and Pedophiles are not a Myth. The chickens might come home to roost. Stop It Already!” He said on his Facebook account.
He further went on to say, “I understand that a lot of people want to be perceived to be on point and riding the success and happiness wave. I get that. But it really all boils down to abject insecurity, narcissism and a misplaced complex, but isn’t lying about who you reallyΒ are not enough? Leave Dem Kids Alone!!! They don’t deserve to be usedΒ for additional social points, ” he said in closing.
