1. His real name is Timothy Sabuta and he is an artist, singer, DJ, MC, and record producer.
2. He was given the name La Timmy by his mentor the sensational Vee while they were preforming in Zimbabwe.
3. La Timmy was part of a traditional group at primary up to secondary school, then later joined the entertainment club at Mater Spei College.
4. His DeeJaying career started in 2003 in Francistown under Bunzonic Records with DJ Bunz and Colastraw before relocating to Gaborone in 2006.
5. He was raised from a culture that fascinated him from a tender age and all this will be visible in most of his songs in his new album.
6. He is one of the few local artists who can sing love songs in Setswana and also his home village language Sesubiya
7. He wants to start a DeeJaying school where he will assist out of school youths to make something out of their lives and be off the streets. This will be his form of giving back to the community and the less privileged will be my main focus.
