Author Omogolo Maforaga has released a deeply personal book, Turning Pain into Purpose, drawing on her lived experiences and Christian faith to confront silent suffering and offer hope to readers navigating hardship.

Maforaga explains that the book was inspired by “life itself” and her awareness that many people “walk around carrying deep wounds in silence.” She describes writing as a long-standing refuge. “From a young age, I found refuge in writing,” she recalls, noting that by Grade 4 she dreamed of becoming a journalist.

Over time, writing became a tool for healing. Maforaga says, “As I grew older, I began to use that love for writing to confront and heal childhood wounds and adult pain.” These experiences were eventually channelled into Turning Pain into Purpose, a book designed not only as a personal release but as a source of hope and healing for readers who may be facing similar struggles.

The book explores themes of resilience, faith, and self-discovery, encouraging readers to transform pain into meaningful action and personal growth. Through her story, Maforaga provides guidance on coping with challenges and finding purpose in difficult experiences, making the book a valuable resource for anyone seeking inspiration and encouragement.

Turning Pain into Purpose positions Omogolo Maforaga as a voice for healing and empowerment, blending personal narrative with practical insight to inspire readers to turn their own trials into opportunities for growth and transformation.
