The Vice President, His Honour Mr Slumber Tsogwane has implored Batswana to take advantage of the Government’s initiatives such as Temo Letlotlo, which was launched recently. His Honour was addressing Orapa residents.
The Vice President informed the residents that Temo Letlotlo intends to promote food security and reduce the country’s food import bill. He said Temo Letlotlo was an outcome based program which aims at improving food production and quality.
Mr Tsogwane urged Batswana to register for the initiative as they could use the programme to fund farm equipment and machinery which will promote food security. He advised the residents that the Temo Letlotlo guidelines can be accessed on the National Development Bank website at www.ndb.bw.
Vice President Tsogwane was responding to a question by Mr Obusitswe Marae who wanted to know where they could get more information on the Temo Letlotlo programme.
