2.GENERAL PLANT ASSISTANT (X7)
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of BGCSE
• A valid Class B Driver’s License is required.

3.AUXILIARY PLANT ATTENDANT (X13)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Trade Test C in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent
• OR BGCSE with 2 years Practical experience in Thermal Power Plant Operation (specific).
• Must obtain a Competency Person Certificate within 6 months of appointment.
EXPERIENCE
• Entry Point only for Trade Test C.
• Atleast two (2) years experience in Thermal Power Plant Operation for BGCSE holders.
• Experience in handling Mechanical Equipment and Tools will be an added advantage.
4.ELECTRICIAN (X8)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Recognised National Craft Certificate in Electrical or equivalent.
• Class B Driver’s License is required
• Must obtain Senior Authorisation within Six (6) months (Internal) and twelve (12) months (External)

5.SHER OFFICER (X5) NORTH, SOUTH & CENTRAL
QUALIFICATIONS
• A recognised Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Sound knowledge in implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and best practice systems such as IRCA/NOSA
• Valid Membership of Professional Institution of Occupational Health and Safety is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in Safety and Health function within an industrial environment
6.PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICER (x4) GABORONE – 6 MONTHS CONTRACT
QUALIFICATIONS
• A recognized Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Senior Authorization for operational purposes is a requirement up 66Kv level
EXPERIENCE
• Three (3) years post qualification experience Distribution Network Construction
7.HUMAN RESOURCES RELATIONSHIP OFFICER(X3) NORTH, SOUTH & CENTRAL
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Industrial and Organisational Psychology or related field from a recognised Institution
• Professional membership from a credible institution will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of four (4) years relevant post qualification experience.
• Of the above, at least two (2) years must be in HR Services position in a multi discipline environment.
• Experience and knowledge of Human Resources best practices including HR Analytics, Employment Labour Law and Recruitment and Selection.
8.DESKTOP SUPPORT OFFICER (X1) GABORONE
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent plus industry qualifications such as ITIL.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a computer environment.
9.CODED WELDER (X3)
QUALIFICATIONS
• National Craft Certificate (NCC) in Welding and fabrication or Boiler making from a recognized institution.
• Valid Coded welder certificate
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 2 years post qualification as welder in an Industrial environment
• Exposure to Power Plant environment as an added advantage
10.ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN – PROTECTION (X1)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be Registered with ERB
• Class B Drivers Licence is required
• For Internal Candidates, must obtain Senior Authorisation up to 33kV in six(6) months, & for external candidates in twelve (12) months
EXPERIENCE
• Two (2) years’ experience in protection, control, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Experience working in a power plant environment would be an added advantage.
• Supervisory experience would be an added advantage.
11.ARTISAN – METERING AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT (X1)
QUALIFICATIONS
• BGCSE and National Craft Certificate-Electrical and Electronics or equivalent
• Class B Driver’s License
• Must obtain Senior Authorization within six (6) months for internal candidates or twelve (12) months for external candidates
EXPERIENCE
• Direct Entry
12.SENIOR ENGINEER-MAINTENANCE PLANNING (X1)
EXPERIENCE
• At least Seven (7) years’ post qualification experience in High Voltage Environment, two (2) years of which will have been in systems operations /maintenance in a power utility industry
QUALIFICATIONS
• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Membership of the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) is required.
• Senior Authorisation is compulsory up to 66 kV or 400kV
• Class B Driver’s License Required
13.ARTISAN – PROTECTION (X2)
QUALIFICATIONS
• BGCSE and National Craft Certificate (Electrical) or equivalent.

• Minimum of Diploma in Electrical Electronics/Mechanical Engineering at NCQF Level 6 or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
• Five (5) years post qualification experience in a relevant industry
15.ELECTRICAL ASSISTANT (X1)
QUALIFICATIONS
• NCC electrical or equivalent
• Class B Driver’s license is required
EXPERIENCE
• One (1) year post qualification experience in electricity supply environment
• Exposure to substation maintenance is an added advantage
