Janet Jackson- “I am Postponing My Tour To Start A Family.”
Wednesday brought both good news and bad news for Janet Jackson fans.Β The good? “My husband and I are planning our family,” she said, beaming in a video posted to Twitter. The bad: Her doctors have ordered her to rest up, which means she’s postponing the second leg of her Unbreakable world tour indefinitely.
“I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she told fans in a video released on Twitter on Wednesday. “Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
The announcement does not make it abundantly clear whether the couple is already expecting a baby, trying to start a family or process of adopting a child. Jackson, 49, married Qatari business magnate Wissam Al Mana, 41, in 2012.
