CAAB hiring a Mechanical Engineer
Main Purpose of the Job
To plan, design and supervise installation, maintenance and repairs of all Airport mechanical equipment and systems such as HVAC, Pumps (fire pumps, portable water pumps and chilled water pumps) lifts, baggage handling systems, passenger boarding bridge (PBB) amongst other systems in accordance with approved standards, systems, and procedures to ensure availability of all equipment, machinery and instruments to enable safe and efficient Airport operations at all times.
Position Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
β’ Registration with ERB mandatory
β’ Membership of a recognized professional institution
β’ Knowledge of ICAO regulations, procedures, practices, and manual
β’ Project management
β’ A minimum of six (6) years of relevant post qualification experience in engineering
fields of which some years in aviation environment would be advantageous
β’ Proven experience in Mechanical maintenance scheduling, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, faults diagnosis and repairs of specialized Airport machinery, equipment and instruments would be advantageous

Remuneration: Band 6 (P309, 870.86 β P357, 461.88) per annum
