Class 43 Of 2022 Officer Cadets Commissioned
The Acting President, His Honour Mr Slumber Tsogwane, this morning commissioned the Botswana Defence Force Officer Cadets Class 43 of 2022. Speaking at the commissioning parade, Acting President Tsogwane commended the officers for the hard work they had put in to complete their training.
He however, cautioned the graduates of the responsibilities that comes with joining the army. He said as they graduate, they now carry the hopes and dreams of the country on their shoulders as they have sworn to safeguard peace and security.
The Acting President urged the graduates to lead an exemplary life that embodies the Botswana Defence Forceβs value system at all times. He said since the officers are graduating at a time when the country is faced with social ills, it is their duty to protect themselves against such.
The Officer Cadets Class 43 of 2022 consisted of 64 officers.
