Masterβs Degree and Internship Program of African Business Education Initiative for Youth Opportunity
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Botswana Office is calling for applications from prospective candidates for the ABE Initiative 4th Batch.
1. Objective
The objective of the ABE Initiative is to support young personnel who have the potential to contribute to the development of industries in Africa. It offers opportunities for young African participants to study Masterβs Degree courses at Japanese universities and experience internships at Japanese enterprises. The program intends to foster excellent personnel who can recognize and understand the contexts of Japanese society and systems of Japanese enterprises so as to contribute Africaβs development in collaboration with Japanese private sector. The expected outcome of the program is a network of potential contributors to the development of African industries who will also lead Japanese private sector to engage further in economic activities in / towards Africa.
2. Brief Description
1. Duration: 4th Batch participants September 2017 β September 2020
2. Language of the Program: English
3. Target Participants: (1) Persons from the Private Sector, (2) Government Officials, (3) Educators
4. Age: Between 22 and 39 years of age (as of April 1st, 2017 for the 4th Batch participants)
