Ekua and Denzel in South Africa for the World Tennis Tour Juniors

Our top ranked junior players, Ekua Refilwe Youri and Denzel Seetso, are currently in Durban, South Africa to compete at the Curro ITF Junior Grade 2 tournament. The tournament will run from from 26 – 30 July 2022.
Ekua will face the 2nd seed Yichen Zhao of China in the first round in the girls singles while Denzel will face South African Guy Vorwerk in the boys singles. Matches will be played today in the afternoon.
The ITF World Tennis Juniors Tours gives players aged 18 and under and opportunity to compete and gain international ranking points. In the process, players get an opportunity to qualify and compete at prestigious events such as Junior US Open, Wimbledon, French Open and Australian Open.
