Brief description

Emory University offers partial to full merit-based scholarships as part of the Emory University Scholar Programs, which empower students through resources and support to reach their full potential and make an impact on the university, and the world.

There are 3 categories of scholarship programs:

β€’ Emory Scholar Program – The Robert W. Woodruff Scholarship, Woodruff Dean’s Achievement Scholarship, George W. Jenkins Scholarship
β€’ Oxford Scholars Program – Academic scholarships include: Robert W. Woodruff Scholars, Dean’s Scholars, Faculty Scholars, Emory Opportunity Award, Liberal Arts Scholar
β€’ Goizetta Scholars Program – BBA Financial Aid

The Robert W. Woodruff Scholarship: full tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board.

Woodruff’s Dean’s Achievement Scholarship: US$10,000.

George W. Jenkins Scholarship: full tuition, fees, on-campus room and board, and a stipend each semester.

Eligibility:

Applicants should be students applying for Bachelors degree programs at Emory University. All students, regardless of citizenship, can be considered for the scholar programs.

Application instructions:

To be considered for any and all scholar programs, you must select 1 of the 3 admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision) and submit all required application materials by 15 November 2020 for Fall 2021 entry. Those applying Early Decision I must apply by 1 November 2020. You also must answer β€œyes” to the question on your application that says, β€œDo you wish to be considered for merit scholarships?”

No additional nomination forms, essays, or materials are required to be considered. Applicants do not need to be nominated by a high school counselor.
