The second edition of the Kumnandi Ekhaya Music Festival took place on September 30 at Flamboyant Gardens in the scenic village of Thamaga, drawing music fans from across the region. The festival built on the success of its inaugural edition, featuring a mix of top South African and local talent.

This year’s lineup included South African heavyweights Master KG, Kabza De Small, and Dr Malinga, alongside Botswana’s finest artists such as Ozi F Teddy, Charma Girl, and Chokoma. The event delivered non-stop entertainment, vibrant energy, and a celebration of music and culture.

Dr Malinga energized the crowd with his hit “Via Orlando,” having attendees dancing and singing along. Chokoma paid tribute to the late ATI, honoring the legacy of the beloved musician during his performance. Kabza De Small captivated the audience with his signature Amapiano beats, turning Flamboyant Gardens into a lively party atmosphere.

Local artists also held their own, showcasing the talent and creativity emerging from Botswana’s music scene. Charma Girl and Ozi F Teddy delivered memorable performances, highlighting the festival’s commitment to blending regional and local talent.
