Laurelton Diamonds Botswana (LDB), one of the countryβs leading diamond cutting and polishing factories, a subsidiary of Tiffany and Company, the world-renowned jewelry retailer with more than 350 stores operated around the world has the following position tenable in Gaborone.
JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
β’ Polishes diamonds, and performs other diamond activities, meeting the required specifications and production targets.
β’ Liaises with polishing Team Leader/Trainer and Inventory control to meet the production schedule requirements.
β’ Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping tasks
β’ Adhere to security procedures and maintain a safe behavior at work
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
β’ Oβlevel or BGCSE
β’ Experience in Bottom polishing
β’ Previous experience in rough diamonds manufacturing would be an advantage
β’ Good spoken English and writing skills
COMPENTENCIES
β’ Good teamwork and communication skills
β’ Practical skills with computer and electronics
β’ Able to sit for long periods
β’ Good eyesight
β’ Attention to Detail
β’ Analytical thinking
