Lucara Botswana (Pty) Led runs the Karowe Diamond Mine in Letlhakane which currently operates an Opan
Pit Mine and now undergoing an expansion into Underground, Th
Serground. The plant was commissioned in April 2012
and has gone on to achieve exceptional performance. The plant completed major upgrades that include

introduction of X-Ray Transmission (XRT) technology in diamond recovery. This is adding to the already
existing innovative application of autogenous milling in diamand processing. The Company is embarking
on projects, which entail enhanced large diamond recovery.
In preparation for the envisaged underground mine, Lucara Botswana invites suitably qualified candidates

ACCOUNTS OFFICER – TENABLE IN LETLHAKANE (36 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Project Accountant, the Accounts Officer is responsible for performing effective accounting
transactions, in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, in the areas of Accounts Receivable.
Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cash Management, General Ledger and Reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:
. BGCSE or ‘O’ levels plus a Certificate in Accounting & Business Studies or equivalent accounting
. AAT will be an added advantage.

. At least three (3) years post qualification experience in a computerised accounting environment of
which at least two (2) years will have been at the same level.
