Dog racing hits Manyana this weekend

Usually men and women who love to have fun do it around good music, sometimes even close to the braai while they have their adult beverages. But, an odd thing hits Botswana for the first time this weekend. Men and women who are fun lovers will not have to gulp on their beverages around the usual places but will have to be cheering on dogs as they race. The village of Manyana will play host to the newly incepted annual event.

The dog racing event will be held at the popular Kolobeng Creek and will run until it is dark. It is however unconfirmed right now on who will be the main entertainer and the rest of the line-up at the event. Botswana has never in the past held an event of this sort. The place at which the event will be held is popular for its exotic hills that give picture lovers a great background for their captured moments.
