Our client is looking for graduate trainee paraplanners to join their team, focusing on providing high-quality financial planning and investment management services. The incumbents will be working in a strong team-focused environment where they can develop their careers within a prestigious firm. They should be motivated and wanting to further their careers within the Financial Services industry. Prospective candidates must be strong organisers with the ability to prioritise tasks and have a positive βcan doβ attitude with a keen eye for detail. Further, candidates must be good communicators who enjoy working in a team but must be able to work unsupervised. Prospective candidates will also be required to keep up to date with technical product and provider changes.
Duties Will Include
β’ Dealing with new adviser & client enquiries.
β’ Conducting research using Selectapension, O&M, Synaptics, Exchange, Assureweb.
β’ New business preparation (illustrations, application, preparation).
β’ Compiling full compliance requirements, strategic overviews and suitability reports.
β’ Processing letters of authority and collation of data for analysis.
β’ Investment fund analysis and investment switching.
β’ Dealing with client valuations and reviews.
β’ Database creation and management.
β’ Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion.
Qualification
β’ Degree in Business, Economics or Finance. (1 year work experience added advantage)
β’ High level of analytical capability and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Computer literate including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (working knowledge of one or all of the following, Selectapension, O&M, Defaqto, Intelligent Office an added advantage)
β’ Eligible to work in Botswana
