Preparations For Botswana Youth Awards 2017 Underway
The Botswana Youth Awards are on again this year, billed for May 20th 2017 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre. The Award Ceremony targets young people (18-35 years) who have shown remarkable talent in various disciplines, and whose exceptional work has transformed their lives and that of their communitiesβ positively. The objective is to recognize the achievements of these young people who have worked for the welfare and development of young people.
The Award ceremony will have a total of 18 categories which include: Best Youth in Innovation and Technology, Best Youth Owned Business, Best Media House Addressing Youth Issues (Print, Radio & TV), Best Youth in Community Volunteerism, Best Youth in Academic Excellence, Best Youth in Sports Achievement, Best Youth Activist in Social issues and Best Youth Tackling Global issues.
Voting lines are already open, where citizens can vote a youth of their choice, via 17272, by sending award code together with name and surname of the nominee (CODE Name Surname SEND to 17272). Voting closes on April 21, 2017.
